I WORK WITH REAL PEOPLE WHO ARE SUCCESSFUL BUT FIND THEMSELVES FEELING UNSATISFIED, CONFUSED, AND BOLDLY WANTING MORE. TOGETHER, WE’LL GET CLEAR AROUND WHAT TRULY MOTIVATES YOU AND CREATE A PLAN TO ALIGN WHO YOU LOVE BEING WITH WHAT YOU LOVE DOING.
HOW DOES COACHING WORK?
As a coach, I believe you already have the answers you need in life. You are the only true expert on all things you. My job is to create a supportive, discovery-based conversation with the hopes of getting clarity about what blocks have prevented you from being satisfied in your life. Being forward-focused, coaching distinguishes itself from therapy immediately and provides a completely different foundation from which self-discovery is possible.
WHO TYPICALLY hires a coach?
Most of my clients are probably like you: happy, healthy people. Maybe they’re looking to make a big change in their lives, or maybe they’re stuck in a rut. The one thing they have in common is that they realize they could benefit from the support of a coach. As a client, you can count on our conversations and know that with some gentle but no nonsense coaching, new possibilities and ways of thinking will emerge.
HOW DO I KNOW we'll work well together?
Find out for yourself and reach out for a free session. No sales, no pressure; just some free coaching and answering any questions you have about the process. If we gel, great! If we don't, no worries - I have a list of other coaches I can recommend so you get the best fit for you. It's always about what works best for you.
what is your training?
I am currently enrolled at iPEC in an ICF-accredited coach training program to become a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), graduating in May of 2016. What this training enables is a system of coaching where the goal is to clear away the obstacles that are blocking people's ability to move forward in a way that is important and powerful for them. What's left after the work is done is an essential Self that is more savvy, intelligent, and awakened to not just their true selves, but to their communities and the world around them.
What can i expect in a typical coaching session?
Coaching sessions can either be in person, via phone, or by Skype if you are located outside of the United States. A typical session runs 55-minutes. The first 10-minutes is usually spent clearing the energy behind anything that may have happened that day or week that may get in the way of being present. Then, it's down to business! In the first session, we'll have already established the agenda for our relationship as a whole. Every session after that we will then establish a mini-agenda for that specific session. We'll be creating action plans, dismantling out-dated "rules" and blocks you didn't even know you had. We'll end the session with establishing goal-orientated measurable results for the next week that are not only doable, but will challenge you and build on the breakthroughs we've had in our sessions.
tell me a bit about you!
My name is Scott Robson and I'm a high-energy, optimistic guy who is relentlessly curious about how people tick and 100% committed to assisting my clients in getting the life they want. I started my coaching journey over 10 years ago, and am currently obtaining my ICF-accredited coaching certification from iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching).
My unique background in studying existentialist/ontology coaching, Buddhism, and being a certified Reiki practitioner sets me apart from other coaches. It's this unique combination of the practical combined with understanding how important subtle shifts of energy can be (along with a healthy dose of humor), that creates extraordinary results for my clients.
